Show idea! Tell me what you think?
It's Drone Pilot in training Aaron Avila
So peeps!
I am so impressed and inspired by Stewart Carroll Founder of Drone Film Guide in Ireland, I want to incorporate Stewart's filming techniques in my productions. Here's my idea.
In Stewart's video tutorial, Stewart breaks down his Drone cinematic filming techniques like this.

0:44 Fly backwards
1:17 Reverse footage in post-production
2:17 Visualize your shot
3:02 Film subjects
3:19 Fly low
3:45 Use the time between shots wisely
4:20 Keep your shots short
4:45 Wait for the light
5:48 Be able to see your screen
6:36 Fly with a partner
7:15 Biggest memory card possible
7:52 Backup mid-shoot
8:26 Don't overexpose your shots
8.51 Stranger danger
9.30 Keep it simple
10:05 Clever composition
10:45 Where to stand?
11:28 Don't ignore battery warnings
12:15 Treat weather with respect
12:45 Wait to update firmware
So my creative thought is to attempt Stewart's filming techniques in the same chronological order and practice them and share my video with you.
Please remember I'm a one handed half paralyzed wheelchair bound stroke survivor so some of these techniques require two hands on the sticks so I want be able to achieve some of Stewart's techniques but you try!
Eventually I am going to add videos of me preparing to fly a Drone half paralyzed and wheelchair bound stroke survivor style.
I'll start this new idea this weekend.
